Owner & CEO
Mr. Kozeal founded LTC Midwest in 2009. He has over 30 years of experience in long-term healthcare, memory support and property development. Mr. Kozeal also has extensive knowledge in risk assessment, loss prevention and state survey preparation and post-survey plans-of-action.
Before establishing LTC Midwest, Mr. Kozeal spent over 10 years as an administrator of rural skilled nursing facilities in Nebraska. He also worked in retirement, independent and skilled nursing facility property development, risk assessment and loss prevention.Mr. Kozeal has built strong relationships with many national Long Term Care Associations, governing agencies and major stakeholders in the field of Long Term Care.
Mr. Kozeal has a B.A. in Theology and an M.A. in Philosophy. In his free time, he enjoys wood working, fishing, spending time with family, and being involved with the community.
Life Enrichment Director
Mrs. Kozeal has over 30 years of experience in long-term care. She worked as an Activities Director, managing a team of people for over 20 years. She is also a licensed Assisted Living Facility Administrator. Mrs. Kozeal also has extensive experience in marketing skilled nursing and independent living facilities.
Mrs. Kozeal also brings a breadth of experience in caring for residents with dementia. She is knowledgeable about helping families cope with the effects of dementia in a loved one.
In her free time, Mrs. Kozeal enjoys scrapbooking, cooking and spending time with her grandchild. She is heavily involved in various community activities, and enjoys staying active.
Project Manager, Business Development, Website Development, Marketing
Mrs. Gupton worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant in a Skilled Nursing Facility at the age of 16. From there, Mrs. Gupton moved on to work at an outpatient radiology facility where she specialized in quality assurance and improvement. She also has experience in PMBOK project management best practices and operations improvement.
Mrs. Gupton specializes in project management, website building, social media management, and marketing for LTC Midwest and select subsidiary companies. She also builds custom Excel reports, and helps the facility be compliant with CMS.
Mrs. Gupton has a B.S. in Neuroscience from U.T. Dallas, and an M.B.A. from Texas Woman's University. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, traveling with her husband, and playing with their Italian Greyhound, Sadie.
